Other ones:

Moderator and Senior Moderator (Much lessened version of the GM's?) Would have to have a good Reptuation or w/e, and hand-picked by the GM's?

Ranks are based on post count,

Mod and Senior Mods are a good Idea however. Typhoon and I will be discussing that.

I can set some ranks so only Typhoon and I can give them out, that would be cool, that could be used for certain things like tournament/event winners possibly.

but then again it wouldn't be efficient we can only have up to 10 ranks, and if we gave out a special rank to event winners it would have to be the same for each other wise we would have like 5 people being the only ones with a rank.

Groups are basically what define your abilities on the site. My group is Web Developer, so I get the little logo under my name in posts.
It also allows me to do ANYTHING I want to the site and to the accounts on the site.

Typhoon has a group as well, his group is Game Creator, he has all the abilities I have on the site

Everyone on the forum has a special group, including regular players and dedicated players. Being apart of the dedicated players ensures that you have the ability to access the special dedicated player forums, and other special features on the site.
